He is also an Affiliate Research Fellow of the <a href=\"https:\/\/aiandthefutureofwork.org\/people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">AI and the Future of Work Program<\/a> at Emory University School of Law, where he previously served as Associate Director &amp; Academic Fellow. His research asks how the law should govern new technologies, and how those technologies are reshaping legal practice. He works across AI, privacy, intellectual property, and international and comparative law, writing to help lawyers and technologists understand each other. His scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming, in print and online, in journals such as the <span class=\"small-caps\">Stanford Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">New York University Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">UCLA Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">Georgetown Law Journal<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">Minnesota Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">University of Illinois Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">Wisconsin Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">Harvard Journal of Law &amp; Technology<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">Stanford Technology Law Review<\/span>, the <span class=\"small-caps\">University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law<\/span>, and the <span class=\"small-caps\">Georgetown Journal of International Law<\/span>, among others.<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:post-content -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n<p>Alongside his scholarship, Chang builds free, open-source legal technology, including <a href=\"https:\/\/cite.review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">cite.review<\/a>, a citation verifier that catches AI-hallucinated authorities, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lawreview.tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">LawReview.Tools<\/a> suite for Bluebook citation workflows. He previously worked in legal and compliance roles at multinational companies such as Volkswagen Group, Nestl\u00e9, Merck Sharp &amp; Dohme, and Boehringer Ingelheim, and served as a Law Research Associate at Tsinghua University\u2019s Institute for Studies on AI &amp; Law in Beijing. He received his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he attended on a full scholarship and was Senior Articles Editor of the <span class=\"small-caps\">Journal of Technology Law and Policy<\/span>, and holds an LL.B., <em>magna cum laude<\/em>, from National Chung Hsing University School of Law in Taiwan. He is admitted to the New York and Texas Bars.
